Our Story

A Legacy of
Wild Comfort

Eagle Spring Backpack Camp was born from a simple conviction: the great outdoors deserves more than a sleeping bag and a dream. Nestled within the rolling foothills of Alameda County, our camp has been a sanctuary for hikers, families, and wanderers since its founding.

We believe luxury and wilderness are not opposites. Every trailhead we mark, every cabin we maintain, and every campfire we tend is designed so you can leave the world behind — without leaving comfort at the trailhead.

Private Cabin Retreats

Handcrafted cabins with heated floors, wood-burning fireplaces, and panoramic forest views.

Guided Trail Networks

Over 40 miles of marked trails — from gentle creek walks to summit scrambles — maintained and signed year-round.

Year-Round Accessibility

Open every season. Winter snow, spring wildflowers, summer stars, autumn gold — each arrival is unforgettable.

What Awaits You

More Than a Camp.
A Way of Being.

Every element at Eagle Spring is designed to deepen your connection with the landscape — and with yourself.
